2019 Sleep Out: Executive Edition

This November, during National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, Covenant House sites across the United States and Canada host Sleep Out: Executive Edition where dedicated warriors “sleep out” for one night to raise awareness and money for the plight of homeless youth. This act of solidarity is not about pretending to be homeless, but is about demonstrating to our youth people really do care
Sleep Out is an experience. On November 21, 2019, please join our Sleep Out warriors for the sixth annual Sleep Out: Executive Edition on our campus. Together with others, you know in order to truly understand youth homelessness, one must experience it first-hand. You can raise money from friends, family, co-workers and kind strangers and met our residents where they are, here at Covenant House Michigan. Yes, you may be cold, but by morning, you will have your eyes wide open to the fact that NO ONE deserves to be homeless. All funds raised at Sleep Out go directly into our programs at Covenant House Michigan which offer our residents the chance at an abundant life away from the streets and out of harm’s way.

Youth Homelessness Candlelight Vigil
VIGIL IS BACK ON CAMPUS!
NOVEMBER 21, 2019 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m.
As in years past, our Youth Homelessness Candlelight Vigil will be held on campus early evening of November 21, 2019, prior to the Sleep Out: Executive Edition. Won’t you please join us to honor those who we have lost to homelessness and those who are still on the streets every night? Come light a candle and say a prayer for those youth who need our help. Parking is available at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, across from Covenant House Michigan. Click here for the parking map.
