Peter Rosenfeld is a senior advisor for The Boston Consulting Group, in Chicago Ill., where he is a member of the Operations Practice. The group focuses on cost and organizational transformation for leading global firms in industrial goods, consumer products, and automotive areas.
His current responsibilities also include his role as CEO of Weber Automotive, North American branch. As CEO, he established and led US expansion in Auburn Hills, Mich., And Charleston, S.C. which included growth of the company to $120 million revenue and 300 employees in 3 years. He has served since 2010 on the board of this $400+mission enterprise which designs and manufactures engines for power sports and recreational vehicles, precision machines automotive powertrain components, and produces lightweight automotive structural components.
Past positions include Stellar Alliance, LLC; Metaldyne Corporation; DaimlerChrysler Corporation; Chrysler Corporation and Mitsubishi Corporation.
Rosenfeld attended Georgetown University in Evanston, Ill., where he completed a bachelor of science (1979) in foreign service. He graduated cum laude with a concentration in international studies as well as Russian and Japanese languages. He also holds a masters of management (1982) with concentrations in finance and sales & marketing from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.
Rosenfeld served as former board chair of the Michigan Business Development Council (2005-2007) and as a member of the board of management of Behr Dayton Thermal Systems (2000-2003).
Rosenfeld was appointed to the CHM board in June of 2014.
